Protection Bollards

BR Series Bollards
Bollards (protection posts) are used to help keep other more critical objects from being struck by vehicles. EPS bollards are made of 3” Schedule 40 steel pipe, which has a wall thickness of .216” and an outside diameter of 3.5”. Each bollard includes a welded baseplate and baseplate cover, although bollards which are to be buried can be ordered without either. The top can have a welded dome cap or be left open for filling with concrete. One or two chain loops can be provided for linking bollards together in traffic control applications.
Bollards are sand-blasted, zinc-plated and given two layers of powder coat for enhanced rust resistance. Standard color is white. See page 16 for other colors.

BOL Series Bollards

BOL Series Bollards are made of Schedule 10 steel pipe that has a yellow powder-coated finish marked with black-and-yellow striped tape. They have a 1/4" thick mounting plate with 7/8" x 1-1/4" mounting slots. Available in 4.5" or 5.5" diameter and 36" or 42" tall. Anchor bolts are not included.

External padlocking removable bollards are the best choice when a strong, yet removable perimeter defense is needed.

These versatile bollards are used in a variety of applications such as parking lots, fire lanes, access roads, and driveways, etc. The external padlock on the bollard allows easy access for service vehicles and fire and police departments into restricted areas. Deploy them as needed for public events and remove once the event is over.  Two lid options are provided to cover openings when bollards are removed: an attached lid that folds down to cover the opening or a removable lid that locks into place.
